They did not address this problem with this one. For instance I tried playing as Kimberly (Pink Ranger) at one point to see what she would look like in her Ranger form and it turns out, she had a muscular built in her Ranger form and no freaking skirt. It was so similar that the game designers did not even have the courtesy of making the Rangers look more distinguishable other than their colors (well, maybe except the White Ranger, I guess!).

The problem is that it is just as good as the previous one. SNES: The graphics on the game were just pretty damn good to say the least. So, when it comes to the story department, I would have to say: The Sega Genesis wins! And if that is not enough, it also includes some key scenes from the episodes of the 2nd Season like the one where Tommy became the White Ranger, and the one where they have to get a sword to for a Power Transfer.

Genesis: This version focused on specific scenes of the movie such as the first encounter with Ivan, the travelling to the city to beat up the two Morphicons and the final battle with Ivan Ooze himself in space. I mean, I remember like any kid in my neighborhood, after watching an episode of the Power Rangers kicking ass, I would tend to imitate their cool martial arts moves.
